Ifafunmiwo Omitola states:

"I believe as women, society has taught us to fear and be weary of our womanhood, so in turn we are just now learning how to understand, heal, & commune with our individual bodies + our community collective. I believe this is why authentic + strong sisterhood/brotherhood in the POC/Indigenous community is so vital. Our communities roots are of a collective people, the healing starts in our ability to be present, able to commune, + build together for the longevity + success of our generations to come. We must learn to unite in our diversity in order to heal our culture."
